The intention of this piece is to stage a credible TV show interview, set in the early 90s. A conversation between two fictional characters, a neurotic self-proclaimed film director Mervyn Blackwood and a writer, journalist and art critic Calorie McCoven.

The piece is making a satirical comment on the contemporary art world itโ€™s often very serious tone and conceptual ideas. It also highlights the notion of talking a lot, but not really saying anything. It touches on the themes of art, creativity, film making, gender identity, fashion and celebrity status.
